ACHIEVEMENTS TO DATE

The Union is proud to continue to provide enviable platform for social interaction and camaraderie among Odogbolu indigenes living in United Kingdom with a view to encouraging pulling together of their resources for development of Odogbolu.

In few years of its existence, it is no gain saying that ODU UK has achieved quite a lot. The impact of the Union’s activities is felt every day in Odogbolu.

The first project of the Union was provision of borehole at Iloda, Odogbolu.

This project was commissioned in 2004. This had been replicated in other Quarters in Odogbolu including Efiyan, Idena, Ikosa and Agada.

The Union acknowledges the importance of sound education and had invested in provision of classroom furniture and supply of exercise books as well as procurement of school bags for primary school pupils in Odogbolu. The Union’s flagship bursary award project will take off this year. It will provide financial assistance to students with outstanding performances.

Our relationship with Odogbolu Community Development Council (OCDC) is waxing stronger every day. We readily support the Council’s activities and projects. Recently, the Union fully sponsored installation of Aluminium railings in the town hall as part of the project to upgrade the hall. The Union is matching and relentless in its pursuit of more achievement.
