I've raised £150000 to Fund The Spearhead Foundation Recovery Centre

We are The Spearhead Foundation formed in 2018, The Spearhead Foundation is a military & mental health charity where it aims to tackle via clinical & peer to peer support the issues surrounding post service & mental health. The foundation currently works with around 8000 people a year. We provide clinical counselling sessions, activities which tackle social isolation and peer to peer support groups.
In January 2022 we aim to move and fully open our Spearhead Centre HQ in Manchester, this will become the first full time recovery centre for people to come & participate in activities to directly give them a sense of belonging, independence & recovery. Which in turn should allow our beneficiaries to kick on with their lives whether that be knowing how to manage there demons or give them motivation & qualifications.
Up to now our charity has been operating out of a 300 sq ft building where we mostly outsource or rent space to allow for our recovery programmes to take place, the cost of doing this is extremely high & the demand & need for our own centre is well & truly there, so this fundraiser is set with the aim to assist our funding efforts where we are looking to raise £720,000.00 to build, install & open the first ever recovery centre in Manchester. By doing this, The Spearhead Foundation will be able to work with & help over 10000 people per year, it will allow us to add a full wellbeing service from fitness to counselling services. In fact the building will be able to provide 400+ counselling sessions per week & 6 support sessions per day. It will also host the first motorsport team which will use motorsport racing to recover anybody who struggles with poor mental health, it'll do this by providing them a platform to push themselves whilst being able to gain training & experience within the automotive industry. The building will allow us to host 6 week employability courses, open to veterans and Afghanistan refugees, it will allow us train soldiers to become personal trainers & give us the chance to get them the correct relevant civilian experience whilst mending there minds. The whole process of the building will assist the military & mental health community by bringing down the numbers of suicides, lower sickness in work, lower the rate of unemployment within the North West.
Currently, we are also running campaigns offline, hence why we are looking on here to raise a minimum of £150k. In fact we are also looking for companies, 500 exactly. We are hoping 500 businesses will donate £1000 to our cause, we are also running a rally in Europe to raise funds & awareness, along with receiving donations from The Hoyld Foundation & UK Fast.
We are also funded by, The Armed Forces Covenant, Forever Manchester and The Veterans Foundation. These funders have helped us in the last year deal with Afghan Refugees, over 250 Afghan War Veterans, Provide over 1000 counselling sessions, Host 485 events for veterans & helped us provide 13,000 meals including over 2000 calls to isolating & struggling people due to COVID-19.
