Story
Jason has terminal cancer and his current prognosis suggests that he only has a limited amount of time left so as a community we are pulling out all the stops to raise as much money as we can so that the couple can get married. We have already received many kind donations from the general public but we still have a long way to go. We have just 5 days to raise as much as we can to make this wedding happen so anything you can give would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again to everyone donating and giving up their time to create some happy memories for the couple.

7 years agoGreat news! Jason is now out of hospital and recovering well. The wedding is now back on for Saturday!! Thank you so much for all your support! We are so close to our target so keep the donations coming in! Thank you:)

7 years agoIt is with sadness that Jason is undergoing surgery today as a tumour has now been found on his spine. We do not know at this stage the prognosis. The wedding unfortunately will not now be taking place on Saturday, although I have been reassured that both Louise and Jason will be getting married as soon as Jason has recovered the operation. Longwell Green Community Centre and our local Community Family are thinking of you both, your families and friends. Please keep the donations coming so we can ensure the wedding is of no cost to them.
