Story

Who are we?

Spectropolis - Pay it Forward was founded in 2015 by Claire, mum to Sebastian. Sebastian was diagnosed with autism following his 3rd birthday. Claire was lucky enough to have support from professionals who she knew who worked within health and education - others are not so lucky.

Spectropolis - Pay it Forward was born under the premise that 'Knowledge is Power' and we uphold the principles of 'pay it forward'. Each year we will aim to fund raise approximately £1000 to support up to 100 families.

Pen Y Fan Challenge

Team Spectropolis will be walking Pen Y Fan mountain 10 times in 24 hours, this Summer - a feat conquered by only a few! The walk will see family members and friends walking a total of 40 miles, with an elevation matching Mount Everest!

Why are they doing this? To raise funds for Spectropolis - Pay it Forward! Spectropolis - Pay it Forward is a small community project which donates autism, health and well-being related books to autistic people, their family members and to those who support them.

Why do we donate books? We provide people with up to date knowledge about autism theory, strategy and support, with the aim of empowering them to help themselves or another - We believe that knowledge is power! We also aim to build a community, where people share robust and strength-based knowledge with others.

Thank you for your support!
