Weʼve raised £5,000 to organise Indian Classical Dance/Music festival

    London, United Kingdom
Funded on Sunday, 20th April 2014

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

To provide an introduction to the Indian Classical Music and Dance, we are organising a week long programme with workshops, exhibition and performances by some of the maestros of Indian Classical Music and Dance in July (28th July to 1st August) at The Nehru Centre, London. We need to raise funds to support the administrative costs of organising this programme and also to manage the printing and production of the exhibition material and sets.

Indian culture like many other cultures around the world speaks of compassion and humility. Sharing such a treasure is surely needed in our time.
