We are so so grateful you dropped by and we in no way take your time for granted. This is our stunning and characterful mutt Foley. And he is in serious trouble we ask for your help. He is right now in surgery as his back end is paralysed with significant damage to his spinal cord. We need to raise £5000 for his surgery and some ongoing rehab to restore his quality of life to some degree. He was insured but due to some recent horrendous personal events I had to let it lapse. I had restored the insurance but he is still within the exclusion period for his operation and treatments to be covered. I am desperate or I would not ask and am humbled by your reading sharing or donating for this.

I got Foley to help our family bond at a very hard time following my accident. Since then he's woven into our family fabric helping my daughter and I beyond belief. He had an unbelievably hard start to life. With the help of an awesome charity Lucky Dog Tails he was rescued from Serbia. We saw heaps of photo's of fluffy cuddly dogs and my daughter (then 9) and I chose him as we thought as not so cute he needed our help. His journey was super tough. He was attacked in kennels and then I got a call saying that one of the kennel workers was abusing the dogs and ours was one of them. He had injuries and was fixed up and made the week long journey to the UK. We never gave up on him. He arrived a year later terrified, nervous and under-weight. Yet full of personality and love of life and walkies.

Today I woke to him paralysed in his back end and we find after MRI scan that his spinal cord is significantly damaged. He is in surgery as I write this. He is our loved one. He is our joy. As I wait for the surgeons call I plead with you to give or share this to help us out. I am a desperate Mum trying to save our pet. If you can't give, please share.
