Story

The DEEN Centre would like to help raise £500 in the month of Rajab to help provide Kafan's to many struggling families in the areas of Ghana, Kenya and Congo. So many families bury their loved ones without a Kafan which is used as part of the Shrouding process for their Janazah. Despite the fact that before Covid many families lived in a consistent state of poverty, Covid 19 has led to a higher number of deaths and therefore there is a greater need for the Kafan's now more than ever!

Help us to remove what is the basic right for any Muslim by providing adults and children with a shroud.

Abu Hurairah (r.a.) reported Allah’s Messenger (s.a.w.s.) as saying: “Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people).” (Muslim Vol. 4, Hadith 6264)
