Story
For the past three years, my daughter Gia has proudly participated in the Young Voices concert, and I’m thrilled that she’ll be performing again this year. Each time I’ve had the privilege of watching her, I’m completely overcome with emotion. There’s something profoundly moving about witnessing an arena filled with children radiating pure joy, singing their hearts out in unison—it’s an unforgettable and overwhelmingly joyful experience.
Participating in music has a profoundly positive impact on children’s well-being, mental health, and self-confidence, while also fostering a strong sense of community. It gives them the chance to build new friendships and, perhaps most importantly, to step away from screens and engage in something truly meaningful.
It’s disheartening to know that so many children across the UK miss out on the opportunity to take part in events like this. Many schools face significant barriers, whether financial, cultural, or geographical. However, with the help of sponsorships, more children could join Young Voices and experience the joy of making music together.
£250: Helps a school experience YV for the first time by providing music, online resources, concert participation, and teacher training.
£1000: Covers the rising cost of coach hire, enabling a school to attend YV and make their participation possible.
£2000: Allows 30 families to attend a concert, and provide t-shirts and concert video downloads to create lasting memories.
£3500: Fully supports a school’s participation, including 30 children, teacher training, travel, family tickets, t-shirts, and concert videos.
As such I am raising £2,500 to help 10 x schools experience Young Voices and bring the life-changing opportunity of taking part in Young Voices to children who would otherwise not be able.
Together let's make a difference!
