Any money donated will be matched by The Big Give Campaign with added gift aid! So if you donate £5 when we donate it between Midday on the 29th of Novermber and Midday on the 2nd of December and it will become £12.50!

The Sponsored Silence will be taking place across the 23rd and 24th of November alothough the donations will stop on the 1st of December so the money can process in time, so it can be donated to the Big Give in time for it to be doubled!

Having worked with the New Theatre Royal for over a year now Abi and I as students see the need for people over the age 55! The Programe will aim to overcome a lack of creative opportunities for older people in our area. Portsmouth has a reputation as a low achieving and low aspiration city with reduced life chances. We believe participation in the arts can and does contribute to mental & physical well-being but funding for this area is limited. NewMotion55 will prioritise regular contemporary dance and drama classes, workshops and performance opportunities for this vibrant age group.

We would love your support as we love this theatre and support all their activities! Working in a linking builidng the theatre is a big part of our degree so to do this for them would be excellent!
