Story
St Hugh’s Special School in Scunthorpe provides outstanding educational opportunities for young people with a range of learning needs including cognitive learning difficulties, physical, health, social and emotional difficulties.
We work hard to offer our students the opportunity to participate in lessons and subjects like their mainstream peers.
The number of students at our school continues to increase significantly and as a result, our facilities need to expand. In order to ensure that the delivery of our Physical Education (PE) curriculum continues to be outstanding, we have successfully applied for and received planning permission for a purpose built ‘Sports Barn’.
We now need to raise £150,000 to fund the building. We are passionate about how excellent opportunities in PE can change the outlook for our young people. Physical activities support physical development, educational achievement and most definitely their social and emotional wellbeing.
In order to help us finance the building of our new Sports Barn and to enable us to continue to provide outstanding opportunities for our students, we are asking for your support in the form of sponsorship or a donation.
We really hope you can offer your support and that we can raise enough money to build the Sports Barn. Any donation small or large would be so gratefully received and would help us on our journey to achieving our goal.
