Story

Hey!

My name is Ezdihar Abdulmula. I am originally from Libya and was very fortunate to grow up playing sports.

Sports have taught me some real life skills that have developed both my personal and professional life. I want to do the same for children around the world. To empower them through sports to believe in themselves and work hard for what they want in life.

"Throughout the life of a child, sport and play can be valuable tools to promote health and prevent disease, both through sport itself, and through the participatory act of watching others play, with the associated communication, education and social interaction that games cam produce." Unicef (2018)

After speaking to some teachers in Libya, many of them have stressed the lack of emphasis on physical education for a number of reasons and one being the lack of adequate sports equipment.

I will be visiting Libya mid December 2018 and would like to try and make at least a small positive change. I am raising some funds to purchase some appropriate sports equipment and also, planning to deliver some sports sessions at a number of schools there. My goal is to help promote and encourage children in Libya to be better equipped to perform well in both sports and school.

I would appreciate your support by donating what you can.

Thank you!
