    Story

Christmas is a time for celebration, spreading joy and bringing smiles to childrens faces but unfortunately for some children they wont be able to spend it at home with all their family, some may be spending it on a children's hospital ward.

Many of us will hopefully never experience having a child in hospital over the Christmas period but for those that do, I hope the generosity of the public and local community will help make Christmas more joyful and festive for the children on the ward.

Red Watch at Whitley Wood Fire Station wishes to take Christmas to the children on the Dolphin and Lion Ward. We are aiming to purchase toys and books to deliver Christmas Eve and bring smiles to all.

Thank you for visiting this page and please donate if possible, the smallest amount may bring the biggest of smiles to unwell children this Christmas.

    Many Thanks

Thank you all for your messages of support and generous donations to this worthwhile cause. Please feel free to make your friends/family/colleagues aware of what we are doing here at Whitley Wood Fire Station and spread the word in person or by social media. On a separate note - We appreciate it is very frowned upon to discuss Christmas in September but I think we can all agree its for a good and worthwhile cause.
