Every year, it breaks my heart to see the alarming number of people who end up on the streets. No home, no money, no clothes and no food. I give spare change when I can but I keep asking myself, what else can be done? So here begins my quest to spread the love that little bit further this year. I want to raise money so the homeless in our area can secure a bed, warmth and food for the night.

Christmas is a time for charity, generosity of spirit and reaching out to others. I believe that, of course, you should do this all year round BUT I wasn't to make Christmas just that little bit better for someone in 2016.
I want people to know that someone cares and someone thinks of them.
