To keep Spree's (Chelsea McCann) positive energy and good vibes amongst us we have decided to do a walk in loving memory of her.

Following Sprees diagnosis, she touched the lives of so many of us. She shared nothing but love, positivity, and gratitude. She made us all appreciate what we have in family, friends and just the simple things in life that we all take for granted, even when she was feeling down, she picked everyone elseup. If you know Chels, this is her all over, kind-hearted, spirited and putting others before herself. Her passing has had such an affect on every single person in and outside of Nottingham, those who did not have the privilege of knowing her, now know her name.

The money raised will be donated to the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust as this is very close to Cindy’s heart (Spree’s Mum) as they have supported her throughout tough times.

We would like to invite you all to join us in keeping Spree’s legacy alive, raise awareness and show her how much we love and appreciate everything that she is.

Arrangements:

Date: due to the current lockdown and government guidelines and restrictions around mixing, we regret that we need to postpone the walk. The page is still open for donations and we would like to do the walk, hopefully in March. Please keep an eye out on the page and as soon as we get a new date we will keel you all posted. Location: Bamford Edge, (Peak District) Ashpoton Road, Hope Valley, S33 0AD

Time: Please arrive at 9.30am (walk will commence at 10am)

Length of the walk: Roughly 6 miles (2.5 hours)

Dress Code: Spree’s favourite colour is Orange so feel free to wear something of this colour.

Spree’s family and close friends will be carrying an orange balloon (this will be in her memory).

We would like to ask that all walkers make a small donation of £10 to contribute towards the Just Giving Page.

Due to nature and restrictions around maintaining the environment, we are not permitted to let off any balloons, so please be considerate and bare this in mind if you would like to bring your own balloons .

Also due to the current covid situation, can we kindly ask that you stick to the government guidelines re social distancing.
