What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

Did you know that over 61,492 children will be sleeping on the streets of Accra tonight? The term ‘street children’ is usually applied to children under the age of 18, who either live or make a living on the streets. Some may have family connections, but others are simply abandoned or choose to run away from home, often due to domestic violence.

Ghana is a beautiful country filled to the brim with joy and culture however it's awful that there are so many kids on the street trying to fend for themselves. With the help of some volunteers we have been able to start feed approximately 200 children every other week. We would love to do more but we need your help. You may not be able to donate a big sum of money but don't let what you can't do, stop you from doing what you can do.

We are Springboard Kids Foundation and our vision is simple - transforming the lives of the Street Children in Accra one step and one child at a time.
