    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

I want to raise the money for a replacement bike for my friend. His bike has been stolen for the second time in 6 months because unfortunately we live in an area where people thinks it's ok to takes what's not theirs. He works extremely hard for his young family and his bike was the only thing he has for himself. He was an avid rider and valued that bike like another child because he knew it's worth to him. The bike was kept in his place of work as he uses it to commute and someone walked straight in bold as brass, picked it up and walked off with it. There's no cctv footage and no witnesses so He's never going to see that bike again unless we can replace it for him. I hate how something which someone has worked so hard to get can be taken away so quickly by nothing more than an opportunist theif which is why I'd like to put my trust in humanity and see what it throws back.
