Our club chairman Tony Jo is now in his 5th battle with cancer and this time he was unfortunately only given a short time to live. Despite this, Tony remains his positive, cheery self. Laughing, cracking jokes and walking around with a smile on his face. He is "Mr Squires Gate" and he is an absolute inspiration to us all at the football club. The first team, and other members of the club have decided to show how much of an inspiration he really is to us by doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge. This will be completed on 03/10/2021 in an attempt to raise money towards charities of Tony's choice for everything they have done for him, and continue to do for him during this time. Those that know Tony will know the type of person he is and I'm sure the news will touch a lot of people like it has done with us.

Tony... stay positive, everyone at the club is here for you and we hope that this can bring you some happiness the same way you have brought happiness to everybody here at Squires Gate.
