Story

Debbie, Claire, Kim and Jane are Guide Leaders from Somerset who are taking a group of 16 (14-18 year olds) to Sri Lanka in Easter 2018. Whilst there, we will be undertaking voluntary work in a range of community settings such as; primary schools, community centres and care facilities. We need to individually raise £2,000 to travel to Sri Lanka.

We will be cycling the equivalent distance to Sri Lanka on bikes at Yeovil Personal Fitness Club. We need to cycle 8,778.84km and are hoping to achieve this in just 5 DAYS! The gym is not only providing us with the bikes, but they are also taking this on as their Summer Challenge. Thanks to their generosity, we will be giving a contribution to Rob's 1 million step challenge for Diabetes UK.

As a group, we are also supporting a local charity called School in a Bag. The charity provides bags which are full of school equipment that gives children the opportunity to gain a good education.

If you feel you would be able to sponsor our cycle challenge that would be FAB! Thank you :)
