Story
Tucked behind the Vegetable Market in Negombo live 15 families. Their homes are wooden shacks and most have no electricity or sanitation. Children, men and women all share one tap for all their washing and cooking needs. It's rubbish!
£300 will provide the bricks and materials to build a home for each family. Once built, they can get electricity fitted. The children can sleep on beds.
In a stable home, the children can then attend the St Mary's Street School, and get an education. With an education - their lives get instantly better.
A group of friends are driving tuk tuks around Sri Lanka in September raising money for the Sea Street project and School. Details of their adventure can be found here: https://www.tuktuktoursrilanka.com/
None of your donation will go on the trip - it ALL goes to the projects xx

Recommended by Sarah who got to see your project in Sri Lanka. It's been a while since I went, but can remember the conditi some families have to live in. Good luck and all the best for your project!

Education is something we take for granted and forget how others struggle for the facilities or even the right to learn. I wish you success and applaud your hard work.
