Welsh Help Needed for the Relief Effort in Kumamoto City

Calling on all Welsh, especially Welsh Rugby Fans and those who enjoyed the hospitality of Kumamoto and the area during the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan!

Kumamoto hosted our Welsh Rugby Team. They are now the epicentre of the flooding!

During the RWC they embraced Welsh Rugby, learnt our songs and waved our flag. The hospitality they showed during the Wales v Uruguay game that I was fortunate enough to experience left a lasting impression. Wales itself left a legacy in Kumamoto and Kyushu.

Now they need help! They are fighting to survive the worst flooding in generations. The flooding is still happening as of today the 20th of July, with more disasters, lost lives and overwhelming clean upset to be begun. Let's rally round and send them some good Welsh help!

The St David’s Society of Japan is fundraising for the Kumamoto Flood Relief and rebuild initiative. The people of Japan who so enthusiastically embraced Wales urgently need our help now!
