The St Eval Community Land Project is all about creating a happy natural space for the whole community to enjoy whilst protecting wildlife.

It is a huge asset to the village of St Eval, providing volunteer opportunities a-plenty and reinforcing the incredible community spirit in our village. Through our work we aim to connect people with wildlife, and to each other.

For six years we have raised funds by way of grants and donations, but our funds have depleted and we now need the help of the whole community. We need you!

The current horse box where we store gardening tools is overrun with brambles, dangerous and not fit for purpose. In order to continue doing the work we do and to create opportunities for more volunteers to get involved, we need to raise the funds for a new shed.

We have funds to lay a concrete base and for some of the timber required, but if everyone who enjoys the meadow could dig deep and donate even a fiver, it would help us to reach our goal and build a new sturdy shed. With safer, more secure storage for our tools and gardening equipment, we can offer more volunteer opportunities to anyone who wants to get involved. The shed will have a keylock with a code and we will be able to grant access to anyone wishing to get involved.

The school have started to now use the meadow for lessons, and we have several young people wishing to volunteer as part of their Dof E challenges. We have so many plans (!) but we need money to be able to fund everything we aim to do.

The meadow belongs to us ALL and its legacy will be in the hands of the people who help to create it. To succeed, we need your help to move the project forwards so that it can fulfill its true potential. Together we can create magic. Thank you so much for anything you are able to donate.
