    Story

The Church of St. John the Evangelist is the parish church of a thriving community in Caterham Valley, Surrey. Our beautiful church building is in desparate need of repairs. Noticed any bad weather in the South East of England recently? All that rainwater is damaging the building and pouring in through the roof in some places. Strong winds have also contributed to much of the damage.

We need £10,500 to replace failing rainwater goods like gutters and downpipes. The original stonework of the church building must be protected before it is water damaged beyond repair.

    Can you help?

Winter is setting in so we need these funds over the next few weeks before Christmas.

The St. John's church is a stunning building with much history and a special place in the hearts of the people of Caterham so thank you all for your conributions which will help keep our church standing for another century.
