The hall, used by many community groups, individuals and schools for activities, events and meetings, is in urgent need of financial help to get going with some much needed improvements:

- A kitchen re-fit and enlargement, which also includes, work to adjacent toilets in the meeting room section of the hall
- Re-flooring of the gents and ladies toilets in the main hall section
- Several other maintenance and repair projects

Like many voluntary organisations, funds are very stretched and there is a significant shortfall of money needed to make a start.

You can help with a pocket money donation .... if everyone who reads this chips in just £2 (the minimum permitted), together we can easily raise £1,000 needed to complete part one of the improvements.

Hall committee members are now counting on the power of social media to help them make a difference. Let's not disappoint them. Please get the plastic out of your wallet NOW and chuck a quid (or more if you wish) their way.

I've been a user at the hall for over a year. The hall manger, Eva, and her volunteers are very accommodating and when I learned of their plight I just had to help.

It's such a versatile and centrally situated venue with plenty of space, a stage, room for a bar and even some free parking facilities - increasingly rare in the centre of Mablethorpe! Sadly, not many people have ever had a glimpse at what potential lies behind the front doors.
