I've raised £3500 to Help Logan go on a family holiday to remember and have good memories before his condition deteriorates. Help with adaptations at home.

This is 7 year old Logan. He is a lovely, caring little boy. He's one of the happiest boys i know who's life has been turned upside down and changed in the last 9 months. He has his mum jo , his older brother Brooklyn and younger sister Lila-May who want to cherish good times. He suffers with autism and adhd. Back in December 2017 he saw a consultant in Lincoln hospital having appointments following a fall back in the summer where mum jo and some of us noticed a lot of change with his mobility and character. Upon seeing the consultant, results came back and the consultant has said he is 80% sure Logan has leukodystrophy disease, ( vanishing white matter around his brain). This means slowly Logan is losing the ability to walk, go to the toilet by himself, bath himself, they have said he could eventually lose the ability to talk and eat he won't be able to swallow as the white matter vanishes. They can't tell his mum the time scale this will all happen in but the change i have seen in 9 months is saddening and heartbreaking. He already needs a wheelchair most of the time to get around, he needs a walking frame at school and a helmet to protect his head. He is now unable to do the simple things like ride his bike, play at the park or run around. I just want to raise some money that will help them get a decent holiday while Logan is still happy and pretty healthy so they can make good memories and get them some bits to adapt their house so he has an as normal as possible life. Jo being a single mum struggles with day to day activities with all 3 children i want to help bring some fun back in so he can enjoy some time with his siblings and family to take a load off them with the worry of how Logan is deteriorating.
