I've raised £200 to raise awareness for thrombosis (DVT)

My nan sadly died in 2002 due to a blood clot. She was 52 years old. She collapsed at home and was taken to hospital and a week after she sadly died. We coudnt understand why bad things happen to good people. Years went on and the same tragic incident happened to my mom. My mom was only 44 and died only 4 weeks ago! (12/03/18) With my mom noone knew she had a clot. The clot broke off in her lungs and caused a Pulmonary Embolism. One day she was fine and happy and the next day, everything came all of a sudden and I felt helpless. I couldnt save my mom. She started breathing too fast and throwing up. She couldnt even stand. She had two cardiac arrests which sadly couldnt be revived the second time. It destroyed me and my family and i promised myself i wont let other people go through the same horror as we did. We need to spread awareness and make sure everyone looks out for blood clots. Not everyone gets signs or symptoms. Always go to regular check ups. Never miss one thinking you are fine because you may look ok on the outside but you cant see whats happening inside!
