Story

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Stacy Olliffe, who lost her courageous battle with cervical cancer on 18th February 2025. After fighting for just over a year, Stacy has now returned to God at the young age of 37.

This tragedy is made even more heartbreaking by the fact that Stacy’s cancer was missed during a routine cervical smear test in 2010. It later showed up in two subsequent smear tests, yet nothing was escalated. The NHS failed her, and now this is the devastating cost we have to pay.

Cancer has cruelly taken too much from Stacy’s family. Just one year before her diagnosis, she lost her beloved grandad to bowel cancer. Now, her family is facing another unbearable loss.

Stacy was more than just a friend—she was a sister, daughter, best friend, aunt, Godmother, and a loving dog mum. She had so many plans and goals for her future—dreams that were unfairly taken from her too soon. She was full of life, with a passion for making cocktails, collecting the latest trainers, traveling the world, and enjoying great food with friends and family. She was always the life of the party, bringing joy and warmth to everyone around her.

She won’t get the chance to celebrate her 40th birthday, but we can come together to give her a send-off fit for the princess she was. We are raising funds to help her family cover the costs of her funeral service, burial, flowers, and a beautiful celebration of her life.

The injustice of Stacy’s missed diagnosis cannot be undone, but we can honour her memory with love, generosity, and a farewell worthy of the incredible person she was. Any contribution, big or small, will help us give Stacy the goodbye she truly deserves. If you are unable to donate, please share this fundraiser so we can reach as many people as possible.

Thank you for your support.
