After the Pony Club Championships was cancelled this year, the two final Horse of the Year Show spots were fought for at Stanford Hall on the 19th August 2019.

The team from Staff College and Sandhurst Hunt Branch of the Pony Club, consisting of Ben Connell, Poppy Bowdler, Lucy Chambers, Sophie Stenning, Millie Day, Charlotte Adams and their incredible ponies, Floyd, Duke, Star, Lucca and Prince, battled it out against tough competition to take one of the last two spots remaining.

This is a dream come true for our team. Over 300 teams battle it out to be one of the six teams to compete in the Prince Philip Cup final at the NEC in October.

It is a very expensive competition, but a once in a lifetime opportunity. We need to cover the costs of the stables and equipment for the riders and ponies. We are running a selection of fundraising events like washing cars, baking cakes and a dog show. Any donations however big or small will be grately appreciated to make the dream come true.
