Weʼve raised £235 to Secure New dance studios for September 2018

Funded on Friday, 2nd November 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Stage Starz Studios have been based in Cheney Manor, Swindon for the past 3 years. As much as we love having our own studios to run from , we have been very unhappy about the poor state of the main building and the conditions we have had to work through during this time. If you are a parent of a child at our school then i'm sure you can understand how frustrating it is to have a dirty building to walk through, unhygienic toilets to use, no available hot water to use in our unit, plus the fact that we have had to deal with major flooding on many occasions inside our studios as they are unprepared to fix the main roof of the building! We also have to deal with having forklift trucks (from other companies) fly though the corridors which is something we shouldn't have to deal with when we have children (and adults of course) constantly walking to and from the studio.

We have been looking for a new studio space for a while now as we have been extremely conscious about the safety of our students , teachers and parents. With that said, we have finally found somewhere! The new space is based at Groundwell Industrial Estate in Swindon, just off the a419. Great location, fantastic building and fab for car parking. The landlord is looking to build our own purpose built studios which will allow us to have two large dance studios, access to a large kitchen / waiting area next door and toilets next door too! All new, nice and clean and safe!!

Now this is where we need a little help....

As we have to deal with the transition of moving from our current location to the new location (to hopefully be done over the summer holidays) we need to be able to source a deposit to secure the studios. As our current deposit is tied up where we are now and will not be released in time, we are asking for donations to help towards the deposit. This is sadly something that we cannot get together oursleves in such a short space of time. Please don't feel pressured in having to donate as we totally understand if this is something that you are unable to help with but any donations made (however big or small) will be greatly appreciated and will also be returned back to you in September. If you want to donate money but do not wish to have it returned then the funds will be given to charity in September.

We strongly feel that this move will massively benefit the school and all of the students. All we want is a happy, safe place for them all to learn

Thank you so much in advance!

    Stage Starz Team :)
