Story

THE CHILDREN OF STALYHILL JUNIOR SCHOOL NEED YOUR HELP!

Led by Miss Marshall, our lovely Year 4 children at Stalyhill Junior School have found the time to devote themselves to a good cause. Using our computing and music lessons, we have created an opportunity to come together this Christmas, offering joy and cheer to those around us, and drawing awareness to those in need. Please help the children of Year 4 to succeed in their goal of helping those in need this year by listening to our podcast and making a small donation to Barty’s in Stalybridge.

Barty’s is a local foodbank in Stalybridge organised and managed by Steven Barton. Last year, Steven was awarded a British Empire Medal for his services to the community in Tameside during Covid-19. Steven runs foodbanks in and around the Tameside area, some of which are based at local schools. They have already reached 780 families with new toys for Christmas.

The children have worked hard during the last few weeks to make a difference and we would be grateful of any small donation towards this good cause. We want to help Steven and the staff at Barty’s to continue to help the community and make someone happy this Christmas.

Please make any donations by Thursday 16th December so we can pass the money on just in time for those who need it this Christmas!

Thank you for taking the time to listen to our podcast.
