The people of Sierra Leone are a resilent people and especially the women work hard to support their famillies. Many were involved in micro scheme funding to help raise funds towards a small buisness.
Following the recent flooding in Sierra Leone, many of these women have lost loves ones and many lost their livelihood due to the disasters linked with the floods and mudslides.
I lived in Sierra Leone for many years before i came to UK and as a business student I am passionate in helping to maintain level playing fields for victims of disastrous areas to pick up their lives and keeping them moving forward.
Women and children in Sierra Leone are at the front of the diasatrous flooding and mudslide. Many of these women who were involved in micro credit schemes to help support and improve their lives have lost everything and some loved ones. While these women still show a resilent spirit to move on, please help to support them in every little way to get them back on their feet.
While i welcome material aid to these women and thank the communites that have so been involved in these support to the victims of Flooding and mudslide in Sierra Leone, my primary target is to support these women who lost all their livelihood and scheme they were involved in before the disaster continue their project.
These women have asked for our support at this very difficult time as conditions continue to deepen, so we can support them get back on their feet and be the front runners in supporting their famillies
Some of these women lost children but have also bravely accepted other children whose parent died during the disasterous flooding in Sierra Leone
We can make a difference in these women lives who can make the lives of many young children have a future in Education, a home and a chance to a loving family.
