We have organised a sponsored Sky Dive on October 6th 2024 to raise money for STAR Housing . Currently we have : Zena, Garrett, Sarah, Sophie, John & Tom jumping into recovery like…..Up and running since May 2024 we have not received any funding as of yet to run our charity. We have purely relied on donations off the fantastic community and volunteers . We have found a premises which will allow us to run our 12 week day program for three days per week to start W/C 16th Sept.This will be open to the wider community of recovering addict/alcoholics to attend. Our intensive day program includes :12 step workshops, relapse prevention , triggers, life skills, mental health coping strategies , art therapy, group process, life stories , mindfulness ,wellbeing meditation, exercise and so much more.

Our program is based off the Minnesota model and also we will be providing our service in a psychologically informed environment.

All monies raised will go directly to STAR Housing towards the running of the charity & day program. We cannot run our services without your help !!

Together we can make a difference! STAR has recieved 61 referrals since opening and we have supported 11 families along this process. We signpost individuals and loved ones to other organisations if we can’t help and also offer continued support whilst they are in need.
