Story
St Augustine's Church has been serving the community of Even Swindon for 110 years. We need to raise a lot of money to restore the building for future generations to enjoy which include re-wiring, new heating, new lighting and re-pointing all the brick work both outside and inside. The church is hidden architectural gem, has a unique interior and is a part of Swindon's railway heritage (it was built for the railway workers and locals paid one penny for a brick to help build it). There are very few churches built in this style in England.
Four runners from St Augustine's (Neil, Heather, Martin and Emily) are running the London 10k on 29th May 2017 to raise money for the church restoration.
