I've raised £30000 to help us to re-raise the roof!

It was discovered on 27th May 2018 that yet again a large amount of lead has been stolen from the roof of St Botolph's Church. Due to the amount that has been taken the church is no longer water tight, deeming it unusable in bad weather and damaging inside contents.
The church is a big part of the community of Newbold on Avon and has been for hundreds of years. It provides a place of reflection, prayer, love and brings people together in life's happy and sad times.
Due to the church being a Grade 1 listed building we are limited to the materials that we can use to make repairs. The Vicar and Churchwarden are currently obtaining guidance and quotes from various suppliers to establish what materials are suitable, and what the cost of the repairs will be. As soon as we know this we will publicise the amount needed and adjust the target on this page accordingly.
Anything you can donate is greatly appreciated and will help to secure, protect, and insulate the building for use by future generations throughout our community.
