For anyone who knows me, i hate running with an absolute passion, the only thing i‘ll run for is the last doughnut. However, I’ve been “convinced“ to run the Worthing 10k. I have decided to run in support of two charities that are very close to me, my family and my close friends.

St. Barnabas Hospice will always have special place for me and my family after how amazing they cared for my wonderful and beautiful Nan before she passed back in 2016. I‘ve been lucky enough to do a small amount of volunteering for them in the past, but no amount of time or money will ever make up for the care they provided my amazing Nan! The work they do is truly inspiring, providing dignity and comfort in the final stages of so many peoples lives, and just like so many, the pandemic has taken its toll on them, but they‘ve still been there caring for people, so I’d like to give a little something back to them.

The second organisation I have decided to raise money for is Worthing Special Care Baby Unit, at Worthing hospital, which will likewise always be very close to me, having looked after my awesome little godson Finley, when he became very ill not long after being born in February last year, because their fantastic care, along with so many people, he is now a healthy and happy young boy, with so much ahead of him.

I will be running with his dad, we are both really fat and hate running, so 10k is like a marathon, so please give what you can, for two amazing causes, its all massively appreciated, Thank you so much for your support!
