Story
Stamford Town Cricket Club is already a well-renowned name in local sport. We emphasise heavily on serving the whole community by providing sporting and social events for everybody who joins us!
We need your help!
The club needs its training facilities to give everybody a chance to practice and develop their Cricket. Our Club Coaches work tirelessly to provide young people with coaching and care.
But all of our best efforts are currently being sadly undermined by the poor standard of our Net facilities.
With a brand new set of Cricket Nets, we know that participation in local cricket will sky rocket. The new facilities will encourage more people to play, to try or to return to Cricket and by investing our time in them we hope that the Club becomes even more of an asset to the community.
It really is a project to benefit everybody!
We want to bring people together through sport for the good of the community.
Our club coaching would be taken to the next level by these new facilities.
Already, Leicestershire CCC have signed Zak Chappell from Stamford Town. Zak joined us aged 8 and rose through our youth system.
The dedication of our Coaches in combination with proper Nets could produce many more professional cricketers in the future.
We have strong support from the local council, but we need the financial backing to make these investments.
