Story
Greetings from Auld Aether Reekie!
After the outstanding success over the last year of the "Absinthe Affairs O' Atticus Oldman" web-radio show on Nusakan Radio (One of the UK's most popular weekly Steampunk themed music broadcasts) - I am currently raising funds to develop and expand my Steampunk inspired artistic activities with a view to promoting Scotland as a natural 'Hame' for Steampunk and Neo-Victorian creative endeavours, projects and events.
I am also delighted to have been able to accept invitations to participate in both this summer's Airship Northstar 2 Festival and Whitby Steampunk Weekend 2 - Beyond The Sea. In addition to recording audio and video material documenting the events, I will also be broadcasting live interviews and performances wherever and whenever possible during both weekends.
Contributions to this campaign will go directly towards:-
1) The foundation of an initiative to raise awareness of Steampunk within Scotland and to promote Scotland's potential influence on Steampunk culture and creativity!
2) Updating and expanding the equipment required to produce, host and further develop the radio broadcasts in addition to funding the online resources behind the Steampunk Almanac website!
3) Assisting with the costs of hosting or attending and participating in Steampunk themed festivals and events over the course of 2017!
To thank those wonderful folks supporting the campaign I am currently putting together a special package of rewards ranging from limited edition badges to Absinthe Affair playlist requests and exclusive original artwork!

The Steampunk Almanac and Absinthe Affair radio are among the reasons why the New Jacobin Club was able to justify the long trip from Western Canada to perform in the UK – a great deal of our fan base in Europe we owe to the support and exposure that Atticus has granted us." - Xerxes Praetorius Horde (New Jacobin Club, Canada www.newjacobinclub.com) Help make a 'Hame' for Steampunk in Scotland's Capital!

Dearest Atticus, It has long been my dream to see the airships of the world's Steampunk elite grace the golden skies above the great earth engine that is Edinburgh. Good luck my friend.
