After our first Premier League season we are hoping to step up our game to sustain our place as a Premier League Cricket Club.

With this in mind . . . I have cycled 170 miles in 2 days via every South Wales Premier Cricket League (SWPCL) ground to raise money for our club. I started the event at Carmarthen WanderersCC on Saturday 8th April and finished on Sunday 9th at Penarth CC. This event is in partnership with the Tom Maynard Trust who provide low level financial support for young cricketers making their way in the game. Over the period in which the Trust has been operating, though, this has expanded and ​their​ work is now focused on three key areas:

I plan to use the funds to support many different initiatives and projects at Clydach Cricket Club. This includes playing facilities, ground maintenance and coaching equipment for all ages.​ All of which needed updating/replacing or thing we haven't got and will help us sustain our name as a Premier League Cricket Club for many a year to come.​

I trained harder than ever for this grueling challenge & after completing the challeneg yesterday, with a crowd of other SWPCL playing memebrs from other clubs, I can easily say this was the hardest thing I have ever done.
