On Tuesday, 8th October 2024, I received the heartbreaking news that my beloved uncle and best friend had sadly passed away. His passing was sudden and devastating.

The incredible crew from Wales Air Ambulance, along with dedicated paramedics, were at the scene doing everything they could to help — but tragically, he could not be saved.

This ride is for him.

This ride is for them.

This ride is for every family in Wales who may one day need their help.

Starting from Edinburgh Castle and cycling all the way to Abercrave RFC in the Swansea Valley, I’ll be raising funds for Wales Air Ambulance, a charity that I believe deserves every bit of support we can give. Their work is vital, their presence is lifesaving, and their compassion in the hardest moments is something my family — and countless others — will never forget.

Every mile I ride will be in memory of my uncle and in honour of the Wales Air Ambulance team.
