£185raised of £1,000 target by 13 supporters

Weʼve raised £185 to Help raise funds towards Christmas Lights and Flower Baskets in Bridge of Don & Danestone organised by the Bridge of Don Community Council.

Bridge of Don and Danestone, Aberdeen
Funded on Wednesday, 12th September 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

You like flowers don’t you? I bet you like Christmas lights even more than flowers?

Well you’re in luck because the Bridge of Don Community Council like them as well and for the last 7 years we have been providing flower baskets on the Bridge over the Don and outside Danestone Community Centre with the lights being on Persley Bridge and the approach to Diamond Bridge.

Everyone loves a bit of sparkle and freshness

This year though we want to aim higher especially with the lights and we are asking you to help us fund them to brighten up our community. In the past we have relied solely on local companies funding them, which we will continue to do, but if we want to better them we need to raise even more money.

‘’We want to make our community a brighter place to live in, do you?’’

Our target of £1000.00 will pay for the flower baskets and enable us to invest in the Christmas lights, if we raise more then we’ll invest in even more lights that are bigger and better.

We would love it if you were able to spare even £1.00 towards our appeal, every little bit helps.

I have reduced the total we are aiming for to £1000 as we have received some generous donations from a few local businesses. These will be acknowledged on Bridge of Don Community Council Facebook page later. Thank you very much to the 8 people who have already donated to this crowdfunding appeal. Remember, every £1.00 counts
