Around the Rock for Oisín

Rock Runners are holding their annual 5k/10k run/walk on Sunday 30 March and are donating all funds raised in aid of a number of charities nominated by Oisín Cassidy.

Oisín is a wonderful 22 year old lad who has successfully represented his schools, (St Ninnidh’s Primary School and St Michael’s College), Enniskillen Running Club and CNDR Track Club, Belfast in athletics, at local and national level and was selected by Athletics NI to compete in numerous international events. We are proud that Oisín, from our own local area, has had such success and most importantly that he has won our 5k on a number of occasions.

One year ago Oisín was diagnosed with cancer and has since been undergoing treatment. In recognition of the inspiration that Oisín continues to be to our local community, Rock Runners wish to raise money for a number of cancer charities nominated by Oisín – charities which have helped him and his family over the past year.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference, and the Rock Runners club ask that you please donate what you can, and share this page as widely as possible.
