What started out as a fun challenge has turned into a fundraiser. I pledged to wear a dress everyday for 7 days because I'd hardly worn my summer dresses this year. Well 7 days in and I've decided to carry on for another 7 days to raise funds for the Dress a Girl Around the World UK charity. The charity shares sewing patterns so sewists can make and donate dresses to girls that don't have one. DAGATW need funds to help get the dresses to the girls and to pay for other costs involved in distribution. I'm aiming to raise £150 during my challenge.

I will wear a dress for 14 days whatever the weather. I'm lucky enough to have 14 dresses, some girls in the world don't have any clothes at all and are either naked or live in rags. Girls that have their own dress are less likely to be trafficked or abused. You can join me on Instagram stories and in highlights to see my dresses day by day (mostly charity shop buys btw).
