Winners of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, Inter Theatre Company Stoke, are an integrated choir, drama, music, dance and film group, made up of learning and physically disabled adults in addition to their friends, families and carers. Featured as part of the BBC film ‘Marvellous’, this unique group have inclusively written, filmed and featured in a new Back2Front Film called ‘Humanus’. Romance, Comedy , Zombies, Song ‘RomComZomSong’, a new genre is born! Humanus has already featured on the BBC at its recent premier and is lined up for distribution on Amazon Prime. The feel-good message from Hamanus is that, people of any skill and ability can create unique and entertaining Theatre and motion pictures, that will appeal to everyone and break the stereotyping of people who have been marginalised. But wait!!! This exceptional groups talent is endless and does not stop at their exciting new motion picture. Inter Theatre Company have recently attended an audition for the huge ITV show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ (cover photo of choir at the audition) and are currently waiting to hear if they have made it through to the next round. Fingers crossed for Inter Theatre Stoke! The money raised for Inter Theatre Company Stoke, will be spent on supporting this group in their passion to create more amazing pieces of Theatre in the future. All proceeds raised will contribute to the day to day functioning of the group including travel expenses and performance materials for the whole group.
