Our house help Maria is actually one of the lucky ones. She has a solid walled house with a good roof that was built for her and her two children by a former family at St Andrews School. However, they only have two beds for four of them and need the extra bedroom completing in the house. They have a long drop toilet but when it rains it floods and is unusable - it needs rebuilding.
