Hi im Stephanie Im asking for help to raise enough money to get a new manual wheelchair. I have had my current wheelchair since 2001 and it keeps breaking and unrepairable. I become ill in 2001 with Enephalitis and Epilepsy. Now i also have Functional neurological disorder.I have narrowing in my spine and tears in my spine. Suffer with spasms and tremors. I only have the use of one arm/hand. So rely on carers (family and good friends) to help me.

I need a new wheelchair to maintain my indendence and to live and do my everyday activities. I do not have the money to get to a new wheelchair so i have to ask for help. I am just getting a new electric wheelchair from NHS which some of you now and some may think why do you need both. Well when you are wheelchair bound when the electric chair is on charge you need a manual chair. Also when you go out in the car a electric wheelchair doesnt fit in a car as it weighs 14 stone. Also trust me when the weather is like this i am def not going out in this so family and friends take me( yes im a coward) i dont like gatting my hair wet.

Below is the wheelchair which I am hoping to get. The handles are on the back they fold down for me to be pushed. I need to raise £1425.00 which will be much appreiciated. I can then get the company to come and measure me and get the right size and it will be built for my needs.
