Story

Jacob was born with a rare congenital heart condition called hypoplastic left heart syndrome (half a heart)

when he was 2 weeks old he underwent the norwood palliative surgery to help him stay alive during the operation he incurred alot of problems and his operation ended up takin 20 hours he came out if surgery on an ecmo machine and fought a hard battle trying to stay alive during the time in the operating theatre jacob had to be resuscitated 3 times after a few days in itu we were given the devestating news that jacobs brain was significantly damaged and he was having seizures
His latest mri shows a large bleed around the brain stem and alot of his brain tissue has died because of this the doctors have told us he has evolving spastic cerebal palsy extreme tightness seizures and involuntary movements

there is a small part of jacobs brain that has not died and doctors have informed us that this part of the brain can learn the jobs of the dead part of the brain but to be able to do this it needs to be stimulated by things like sensory equipment.

Unfortunately this equipment is very expensive but for jacob to thrive it is vital any donations would be incredibly kind so i can give my little boy the chance of thriving and being stimulated so the brain can learn
Thankyou for taking the time to read this xx

as we have raised what was needed for jacob we are now helping ither families in gettin them the equiptment they so desperatly need x
