Story
We lost my darling Mum to Breast Cancer on 26th November 2004 Mum had just turned 62 on 13th November 2004 but died 13 days after.
Mum was born Wendy Gillian Hailey, the 13th child to be born in Lewes Hospital on Friday 13th November 1942. Mum was the 13th child to be born on Friday 13th. The number 13 featured heavily in her life and we lost her 13 days after her birthday.
She was an amazing lady, friend, Mother, Sister, Auntie and Nanny to my three children.
In 2005 I walked 28 miles from Kew to the Thames Barrier 18 miles the first day and 8 the second raising money along the way.
Now that I am blessed to become a Nanny to Olivia & Frazer’s first child I want to mark the occasion raising money for a cause that is extremely close to our hearts.
I will be walking 13 miles in September around St Ives so if you can spare anything no matter how small please donate.
