Story
Antoine is going back to the Ivory Coast in May 2020. Two years ago, he started building relationships with a Primary School in Abidjan on behalf of St Jérôme Church of England Bilingual School in Harrow where I work as a Teacher Assistant.
In 2018, Camembear @headstartlanguages visited and stayed there. Last year, St Jérôme sent a suitcase full of books. This year, I would like to raise money for the school in Abidjan to build bookshelves and buy books for them to have a proper library. The money would go through Theological Hunger , Antoine's charity. Having access to good quality books is essential to learning and I believe, that these would make a real difference to the many children of that school. I also want, through this simple gift, to let them know that people care and love them.
This is why I am excited to be running 10K on the 15th March 2020 in Hyde Park, London. Could you please consider helping me with this project? I know that we are all constantly asked to give here and there. Please rest assured that any amount would make an impact as all together we can make a difference.
If you know me a little, you will know that I have a deep heart for children, for access to education and for Africa. I also love books immensely and growing up they were a huge part of my life.
Thank you for your support. Now I just have to finish that specific race...
