Do you get 3 meals a day? Do you have regular contact with your loved ones? Yes? Well it is believed that 30% of 65-90 year Olds in lancashire dont! They spend day after day alone!
As a chef I was thinking about how I can help. Then it hit me, meals on wheels for the 21st century.

With food waste an epidemic across the country, I am aiming to marry both together. Reduce food waste and feed those in need! £6.50 will give 1 person in need a 2 course meal twice a month! So for the £1000 we could together feed 25 people in need for 6 months.

Every other Sunday a home cooked meal would be delivered to an eldely person in our community, it might be the only person they see that week! Ask yourself could you spare 22p per day for 6 months? If so you will be directly responsible for 1 person receiving food for 6 months. Or £6.50 will give 1 person a meal for that month!

Once the equipment needed to safely package the food has been sourced then thecost to produce meals will reduce even more!

As a chef I will be doing the cooking and distribution myself and am only seeking help to pay for the products.
