THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY DONATED - £260 SO FAR!!! YOUR GENEROSITY HAS WARMED MY HEART AND SHOWS WHAT STEPHEN MEANS TO YOU ALL. IT IS ONLY 9 DAYS UNTIL I "BRAVE THE SHAVE!" AND I WOULD REALLY LOVE TO PUSH FOR A £500 TOTAL (I can't begin to imagine what this would mean to Stephen). SO, FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE NEW TO OUR CROWDFUNDING HERE IS OUR STORY : My dearest friend, Stephen Anthony, was born with Cerebral Palsy and has spent his life having to rely on others for his every need. He is the warmest, kindest, most generous and loyal friend that anyone could wish for. He is always grateful for everything that is done for him and would go to the ends of the earth for those he love. It breaks my heart to tell you that he has now been diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer and has bravely written his Bucket List. I will do whatever I can to help Stephen (and more!). To that end, I am "Braving The Shave" to raise as much as I can to enable him to do the things on his bucket list whilst he is still able. It is the least that I can do for a friend (who to me is family) who has spent the past 16 years lovingly supporting me as a disabled single Mother. He has made me laugh when I was down and listened endlessly when I have needed an ear. Together we have laughed, cried and confided in each other, sharing good times and bad. I know that Stephen (& I) will appreciate any support that you can find it in your heart to give and I promise to post before and after photo's when I "Brave The Shave" on 24th November 2016.
