I've raised £200 to Raise funds to be split between Autism West Midlands and towards the disabled hoist in Northgate Leisure Centre swimming pool in Bridgnorth

On 28th December, a 24 hour swim relay has been organised by Northgate swimming club. For my sins, I have bagged the much coveted 12am - 1am (graveyard) slot.
All time slots are full with swimmers of all ages so as an aside we are also going to attempt to break the record for the distance swum in a 24 hour relay.
Northgate swimming club does a great deal to support local charities and also sees an enormous amount of children through competitive swimming.
This event is aiming to raise at least £5000 which will go towards 2 causes.
Firstly Autism West Midlands which offers support, advice and training for the 60,000 people with Autism in the West Midlands.
Secondly Northgate Leisure centre has recently undergone major refurbishment and this involved replacing the disabled hoist in the swimming pool which was no longer fit for purpose. It is another vital service for the community.
